Happy New Year!
We hope your 2024 is off to a great start! Here’s what’s coming up at Little School of Music.
Spring Recital Weekend Date Change!
We accidentally scheduled the Spring Recitals for Easter weekend, so we are going to bump it to the weekend before! Please mark your calendars!!
Spring Recital Signup Dates: March 4th-16th
Spring Recital Performance Dates: March 23 & 24th
Classes Start in February!
Last fall we offered over 40 hours of FREE Group Classes to our current students. Classes will be continuing this February 2024 including:
Songwriting Fundamentals - for anyone new to songwriting who wants to learn how to get started.
Songwriting & Recording - for experienced songwriters and students interested in continuing from this fall. Offered in collaboration with Music Recording & Production Class.
Music Tech & Apps - for anyone new to music technology who wants to learn how to get started.
Music Production & Recording - for anyone interested in learning more about recording live music, using midi, loops, and diving into production, mixing, and mastering. Offered in collaboration with the Songwriting Extension Class.
Improvisation - Make up your own tunes, solos, and play on the spot! You’ll learn the tools needed to improvise!
Singing for Instrumentalists - An introduction to singing, how to coordinate singing and playing your instrument together, and how to use singing to help you improve playing your instrument!
Bucket Drumming - Rhythm (and drumming) is fun and for everyone. Learn cool rhythm patterns, improve your rhythmic skills and play some cool beats with the bucket drumline.
Music Ensembles - Playing with others is one of the most enjoyable parts of music. All students in Apprentice II and up are welcome to participate!
Special Topics - Pop-up specialty classes will be offered centered around hot topics, interests, and to help students prepare for upcoming events. Stay on the lookout for more details!
Current students can upgrade their annual program for an additional $99 per month added to your annual program, or sign up for 6-weeks at a time for $249. Classes must have a minimum of 6 students.
TELL YOUR FRIENDS TOO! - Students outside Little School of Music may sign up for 6-weeks ($325).
Music for Little Mozarts
Our most popular class for children 5-7 years old is starting up again! New Level 1 classes are enrolling NOW!
Rockschool Store (RSL Store)
Pick up your hard copy of the Rockschool books and apparel from our Little School of Music Rockschool Store! Please note, the pricing is in £ because Rockschool is based in the UK. The pricing will be converted to US $.
Pocock Brewing Co. Event
On Friday, January 26th from 6:00pm-9:00pm the LSM Rock Bands will be performing at Pocock Brewing Co. and celebrating the Album Release for Flashback!
Come hang out and enjoy some great pizza, drinks, and MUSIC! Get your tickets before they sell out! ($10 each. Does not include pizza or drinks.)

Rock Band Auditions!
If you’re interested in playing or singing in a rock band, come to the placement auditions at the end of the month!
January 31st between 3:00pm-8:00pm (specific times will be scheduled)
