Our professional music instructors will be leading classes at the Open House: Miss Mindy, Justin Haase, Rich Brown, Steve Poloni, Matt Fullove, and Armando Wood.

Congratulations to Harry Christiansen!
Harry Christiansen is one of three 2024 Youth Concerto Competition winners! You can hear him play live in concert at the Canyon High School Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 13th at 2:00pm.

We will be there to cheer him on and support his dedication, practice, and achievement performing live as a concert pianist.
NEW DATE! Rockschool Recorded Exams
On OCTOBER 5th Little School of Music will be offering FREE recorded Rockschool Exams to help students with their submissions. All you need to do is come prepared with your instrument, cables, music, and tracks, and we will take care of the rest.
Student will record their complete exam 2 times straight through (no pauses or edits allowed in the recording), and select the one they, and their teacher, feel is best to submit. If you are ready to record your exam, please schedule a time with the front desk: 661-222-2239

Music Creators Course
We are super excited about the launch of our new Music Creators Course! This will include a collection of classes to help young budding music creators make and keep their own original music (even without any musical experience).
The Music Creators Course is a collection of music creator sessions each with a variety of classes taught by different Instructors. The purpose is to encourage collaboration among staff and students, as well as individual creativity through project-based learning.
Classes will meet during the same 12-week session term and include some overlap by design. The classes should work together to teach the skills needed to achieve the final outcome/goal as a tangible project.
The first session is called SONGMAKERS.

As a trumpet player, my professional music career has led me to diverse experiences and circles of musicians, including symphony orchestras, big bands, pop bands, funk bands, musical theater, heavy metal bands, Latin bands, brass quintets, film scoring sessions, recording sessions, and touring. You name it, I’ve probably played it. But there was another side of me—the music educator.
